Characteristics
The EL60/450 allows the tightening and loosening of valves on cylinders and fire extinguishers with diameters ranging from 180 to 410 mm, ensuring compliant tightening torque, significant time savings, and a drastic reduction in physical effort and risk of injury.
The unit consists of a cylinder clamping group and a torque control group. Both can be wall-mounted or installed on a self-supporting base (upon request). It is also possible to complete the unit with one of two protective guards, providing an additional level of safety.

Mechanical torque control | The control is achieved through the compression of a spring. This method ensures excellent accuracy when tightening valves with conical threads. Furthermore, it does not require periodic calibration or adjustment procedures. It minimizes maintenance and reduces potential machine downtime caused by electronic component failures. |
Load cell torque control | The torque is controlled through the compression of a load cell. This method offers the same accuracy as the mechanical system, while allowing real-time display of the torque value on a screen. Torque adjustment is faster, as it is performed using a numeric keypad. |
Torque control with torque meter | The torque meter is the most accurate instrument for torque control, managed “moment by moment” by artificial intelligence. This makes it possible to precisely tighten even valves with parallel threads and O-ring sealing. This system allows data export via USB flash drive (optional) or through a connection to an external management system (optional, software not included). Total height with torque meter: 4100 mm |
